James spent twelve years as a licensed real estate agent across Auckland and the Waikato, completing over 200 residential sales before founding Best Agent NZ in 2022. Frustrated by how little data homeowners had when choosing an agent, he set out to build the transparent comparison platform he wished had existed.
He holds a full REAA 2008 licence, a Bachelor of Property from the University of Auckland, and remains directly involved in the quality-checking of every agent in our network.
