When a sale completes through an agent we matched you with, the agent pays Best Agent NZ a referral fee of 14.5% of their commission. The fee is paid by the agent on settlement and never affects your sale price or what you pay your agent.
No. The agent agrees to the referral fee when they join our network — it's part of how they get access to qualified vendor leads. You pay the agent's quoted commission and nothing else.
No. Agents cannot buy preferential placement, higher rankings, or more matches. Our recommendations are based purely on verifiable performance data — recent sale prices, days on market, sales volume in your suburb, and seller feedback.
